• Nationally certified (RID, NAD, or BEI)
• Working toward certification and seeking mentorship or experience
• Skilled in specialized areas (medical, legal, mental health, education, performance, etc.)
• Fluent in various communication modalities (ASL, tactile, close vision, trilingual)
• Committed to lifelong learning and cultural competence
