Hello, Deaf and Hard of Hearing community!
Have you completed your taxes yet?
The time to do your taxes is approaching! April 15, 2025 is the last day to submit your taxes.
We will share a few quick tips with you all:
[White text on an orange highlight appears in the upper-right corner that reads: “TIP 1: Free Tax Help” alongside an image of a person filling taxes on a desk]
If your income is $67,000 or less, you can get free tax assistance through the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
[White text on a green highlight appears in the upper-right corner that reads: “TIP 2: File Online for Free” alongside an image of a person filing online on a laptop]
The IRS Free File program lets you file your federal taxes online for free. It’s safe, easy, and no cost to you.
[White text on a teal highlight appears in the upper-right corner that reads: “TIP 3: Request an Extension if Needed” alongside a graphic of a blue background filled with clocks and text in the center that reads “Do you need more time to file your taxes?”]
Need more time? You can request an extension to file your taxes. Remember, this gives you more time to file, not to pay any taxes owed.
