Danielle: Yup!

 

Danielle: First we want to acknowledge that DCARA’s Winter Fest was scheduled for December 14th, 2024 has conflicted with the Sonoma County Deaf Community’s second Saturday monthly event. DCARA wants to respect the community’s event.

 

Lanetra: With that in mind DCARA has decided to reschedule the event to the third Saturday of January 18, 2025.

 

Danielle: The Winter Fest will be at the Finley Community Center at Finley Auditorium. Address: 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. The event will be from 11AM to 3PM.

 

Lanetra: What will happen at the Winter Fest? The event will be with different Community Partners, activities, and storytelling. DCARA also hopes to have a Holiday Bazaar with Deaf owned businesses.

 

Danielle: You might see DCARA’s flyer encouraging registration. Registration is not required to attend the event. It is simply to get a count of how many came to the event. Please come even if you do not register. It’s free!

Danielle: Primero, queremos reconocer que el Winter Fest de DCARA estaba programado para el 14 de diciembre de 2024 y ha entrado en conflicto con el segundo evento mensual del sábado de la comunidad de sordos del condado de Sonoma. DCARA quiere respetar el evento de la comunidad.

 

Lanetra: Con eso en mente, DCARA ha decidido reprogramar el evento para el tercer sábado del 18 de enero de 2025.

 

Danielle: El Festival de Invierno se llevará a cabo en el Centro Comunitario Finley en el Auditorio Finley. Dirección: 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. El evento será de 11 a. m. a 3 p. m.

 

Lanetra: ¿Qué sucederá en el Festival de Invierno? El evento contará con diferentes socios comunitarios, actividades y narración de historias. DCARA también espera tener un bazar navideño con empresas propiedad de personas sordas.
