Today, wireless internet-connected electronic home appliances are available in the marketplace. These devices that the router connects to the Internet home are vulnerable, probably allowing hackers to earn data if the Internet is not protected. It is essential to protect these devices, just like computers and smartphones.

Review network and device names.

Does your cell phone or home network use the same name or other personally identifying information? It can easily hack a device since the hackers can see the word, making it easier for them to guess the password.

Changing the name of devices is essential, and creating a different name would be best so hackers cannot be able to identify them quickly.

Create unique passwords for each of the devices When you purchase a new device, it often comes with a simple password, which means hackers can quickly access devices and use them to attack and challenge a network.

For example, if an intelligent kitchen stove is connected to the Internet and has a simple password, a hacker could use the stove to access a wireless network and hack a computer or phone. When you get a new Internet-connected device, you should ensure to create a solid and unique password.
