[START MESSAGE]

The wait is over! As of April 15, anyone who is 16 years old and older can now get their vaccination shots in California.

More vaccination sites are available all over the state for either drive-thru and walk-up appointments.

There are several ways to get your vaccination:

Register through MyTurn website (myturn.ca.gov)
Use to find a local site near you,
Check with your medical provider/insurance to see if they offer vaccination to its members.

However, there are some “pop-up” vaccination sites that are not listed but can be found through your local news, community groups, or social media.

Here is an example of a pop-up vaccination site in Oakland for this weekend, April 16-19th:

Location: Acts Full Gospel Church

Address: 1034 66th Avenue, Oakland California 94621

Hours of Operations: This weekend starting today April 16 through Monday, April 19th. The hours will be from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Kind of vaccine: Pfizer vaccinations

Drive-Thru or Walk-Up: Park and walk-up

This site ACCEPTS walk-ins! If you haven’t made an appointment, go ahead! Be sure to follow the signs for parking and where to wait in line. Always bring your government ID.

Please note that the pop-up vacation sites do not provide ASL interpreters, please bring paper & pen or use your phone to communicate with them.
