Virtual Drive Thru with Stanley Matsomuto – Vaccine Supersite Experience

[BEGIN TRANSCRIPT]

[START VIDEO]

[SCENE: Driving on Interstate 580]

Stanley Matsomuto: As you approach the exit for the supersite, make sure you stay on the right side of the highway once you notice the long line of cars. Carefulyl merge as there are other drivers trying to enter the highway as well. If you try to cut ahead, beware of the long line and you’ll be blocking the traffic.

Stanley: As you can see, the driver ends up blocking the traffic and the other drivers behind are frustrated. Make sure you merge into the exit lane early in the back as possible. I’m taking the Zhone Way / 66th Ave exit. You can see the exit sign.

Stanley: As you enter the site, the lanes will merge into one lane. It’s pretty effective!

Stanley: I’ve informed them I’m deaf. They just placed a card on my windshield saying I need American Sign Language access.

[SCENE: ASL Card on windshield]

[SCENE: Instruction being given through ASL interpreter and taking the vaccine]

Stanley: After taking your vaccine, you’ll be directed to the observation area for 15 minutes to make sure you don’t show any signs of side effects. If you do, turn on your hazard lights or beep your horn and the medical staff will come to you. They placed a note with the time of the vaccine so they can track you for 15 minutes. I’ve got my vaccine card, yay! Good luck to all of you!
