The IRS and the Treasury Department finally scheduled a payment date for the millions of Social Security recipients and most other federal beneficiaries who do not have to file tax returns.
The IRS and the Treasury Department announced they will start sending payments by April 7th, 2021.
If you didn’t set up an electronic payment, you will receive an Electronic Impact Payment Card (EIP) in the mail.

How much stimulus money you receive depends on which category you belong in:
Individuals will get up to $1,400
Couples filing jointly will get up to $2,800
Dependent will get $1,400 per person

To track your stimulus, you can go to https://www.irs.gov/ and click the “Get My Payment” button.
You will need to fill out the following information:
Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)
Date of Birth
Street Address
Zip or Postal Code
Click continue and on the next page it will provide you the estimated date of when you will receive your stimulus.
