Breaking News – City of Fremont Require Masks

Amy Grindrod
April 16, 2020
Breaking & News Flash

The City of Fremont has proclaimed an Executive Order, “EO 2020-03,” requiring the use of face coverings at essential places of business to protect workers and the public and prevent community spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Starting IMMEDIATELY, ALL residents who live in the city of Fremont, including visitors and workers will be REQUIRED to wear facial coverings all the time while out in public.

You can use masks or any kind of facial coverings such as scarves, bandanas, t-shirts, sweatshirts, towels, turtlenecks, or other fabric, can be sewn by hand, or factory-made, etc. Facial coverings help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

You may be refused service if you do not wear a mask. You can be also asked to leave the store or service location. If you refuse to use facial covering, people can call the police on you, and you will be held responsible: be fined, put in jail, or both.

You must use facial covering ONLY when you are out in public, including grocery stores, laundromats, outdoor work sites, buses, drive-through/curbside pick-up situations, farmers’ markets and while pumping gas. Facial coverings are REQUIRED doing these activities!
