Happy Holidays! At DCARA, we want to acknowledge and recognize other holiday celebrations & traditions to increase cultural awareness for our community.

Today we want to recognize and celebrate Christmas on December 25th.

Many people decorate their homes with Christmas trees and lights, visit family or friends, celebrate with a lot of festive food, exchange gifts, and give children gifts from someone named Santa Claus. For Christians, Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. Merry Christmas!

[Video description: A short video displays a few slides with different backgrounds.

Slide 1: A white/pink background displays a Christmas tree, light at the top, and text in red and green: “December 25. Merry Christmas. Today we want to recognize and celebrate Christmas on December 25th.”

Slide 2: A red background displays festive decorations of pine, presents, candy cane, and lights. There are two graphics of DCARA logo and a Santa Claus at the bottom. In the center, there is a white text: “Many people decorate their homes with Christmas trees and lights, visit family or friends, celebrate with a lot of festive food, exchange gifts, and give children gifts from someone named Santa Claus.”

Slide 3: A background of night sky with stars displays a graphic of the Nativity Scene at the bottom and a gold-yellow element with white text: “For Christians, Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God.”]

¡Felices vacaciones!
