[BEGIN TRANSCRIPT]

Once you open the letter with the EIP card inside, you will need to follow these steps to activate your card. If you received a card for the first stimulus payment, it will NOT be reused for this new stimulus payment. You will receive a NEW EIP card.

Step 1: Call number #1-800-240-8100

Step 2: It will ask you which language English or Spanish.

Step 3: It will ask you: Activate Card or Customer Service, press one; It will ask you if the card is damaged or stolen/lost, press two. (see Vlog on stolen or lost cards)

Step 4: Activate Card, it will ask you to provide:
The full card number
Name,
Address
Social Security number.

Step 5: You will be able to come up with your own pin number. It will be a 4 digit number.

There are a few more steps that we are unable to verify, however proceed through all the steps.

Please do not forget your PIN number. It is very IMPORTANT that you remember the PIN number.

Now, after activating your card, what can you do now? Check out our next vlog!
