News Flash: Alameda County Allows Limited Outdoor Activities and Services to Re-open on August 28th

Alameda County Health Officials issued orders to allow for limited outdoor activities and services to resume, starting August 28th.

Business and Services for limited Reopening: Outdoor swimming pools hair salons, nail salons, barbershops waxing services skin care and non-medical massages wineries (by appointment without needing to provide food)

Not included: Eyebrow threading and waxing and eyelash treatments. Tattoos, piercings and electrolysis are not allowed to operate indoors or outdoors

These businesses cannot open because their services require a client to remove their face covering. This change does not apply to bars, breweries, pubs or brew pubs. Keep in mind that while these new changes are in place, the need to maintain physical distancing, face coverings, and continuing to follow cleaning of surfaces, use of hand sanitizers, and hand washing is still required. We encourage you to check with certain businesses and services before you head out of the door. Stay safe.
