[BEGIN TRANSCRIPT]

Hi Everyone, I’m Danielle Silk, Youth Services Coordinator here at Deaf Counseling, Advocacy, and Referral Agency.

I want to invite you all to join us for ASL Storysigning on Tuesday, July 21st from 3-3:30 PM PST.

I will be signing this week’s story, “The Breaking News” by author/illustrator Sarah Lynne Reul.

This story is incredibly time in the context of what is happening right now. It focuses on children and their experiences of family responses to news–specifically bad news.

Following the story Susan Gonzalez will join for an important discussion on supporting Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing, LateDeafened and Deaf+ youth and children as they navigate current events.

Registration is not required. Join us through Facebook live or Zoom Webinar. https://zoom.us/j/939706240254
