This is breaking news: Today’s news includes new counties that have issued curfews:
Solano County effective Tuesday, June 2, 2020, from 8:00 PM time to 5:00 AM, lasting up to 2 days, and San Mateo County issued a curfew for youth, under 18 years of age, to be off the street by 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
The current curfews of the following counties and cities are:
6:00 pm – 5:00 am
San Leandro
8:00 pm – 5:00 am
Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Hayward (ending June 8), San Francisco, Walnut Creek (ending June 8), Solano County (June 2 & 3)
8:30 pm – 5:00 am
San Jose, Santa Clara
9:30 pm – 5:30 am
Pleasant Hill
10:00 pm – 5:00 am
Danville
11:00 PM:
San Mateo (for youth under 18 years of age, May 31 – June 4)
Only people allowed to stay past curfew are:
Essential workers (commercial trucking, delivery services, and night shifts);
First responders;
Authorized media representatives;
People attending religious services;
People obtaining food;
Caregivers for a family member, friend, or animal;
Patronizing or operating private businesses;
Seeking medical care or fleeing dangerous circumstances.
