If you are curious or concerned about what this financial relief means? Here is a FAQ summary.

Q: I make monthly payments using auto pay for telephone, electricity and rent. My working hours got reduced or I got laid off. What do I do?

A: If you want to stop the automatic payments, you must contact each of the companies that you have already set up automatic payments with. You can do the following:

• Phone and internet services (AT&T, Comcast, Sprint, etc.)
• Utilities (PG&E, water, garbage, etc.)
• Credit Cards Mortgage Payments

Q: How do I contact them?

A: You can contact them by: VP/VRS Online App – If the company has an App you can/might “turn off” the auto payment

Q: If I call them, but some companies accidentally go ahead and try to deduct. Can I call my bank instead?

A: Please be aware that contacting your bank will not stop automatic payments, you must go directly to the company to have the automatic payment(s) stopped.

If you are having any difficulties with this process please contact DCARA.
